We need professionals who understand the work and the value of depth in therapy which makes this work unique and unlike anything else available in medicine. Young professionals need guidance and support and if nothing else then atleast a non judgemental space where they can make sense of their conflicts and doubts. I would love to help people who are sincere and are facing genuine existential concerns as they start working with patients because it’s less talked about that a therapist needs constant work on themselves and the most important thing they can do to successfully do this work is self work and understanding your own self so they can create the space for others when they are in a session and their self does not come in the way of the process.
